IEEE has become a real communicator and facilitator amongst all the scientific and technical communities which are striving for the betterment of this world. As an information technology research institute, LNMIIT plays an important counterpart role in this process. LNMIIT has always been a keen activity organizer in areas related to technology and professional growth of an individual. The plethora of resources provided by IEEE help the students to keep pace with sharper edge towards excellence. Several workshops have been organized by the IEEE Student Chapter at LNMIIT.
ASME is a not-for-profit membership organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skills development across all engineering disciplines, toward a goal of helping the global engineering community develop solutions to benefit lives and livelihoods. ASME serves this wide-ranging technical community through quality programs in continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations and other forms of outreach.
CNC routers(Computer Numerical Control Router) workshop had been organised on 21-23rd October,2016 by Dr. Vikram Sharma and Dr. Deepak Unune.
Event "Mechovation" was also organised in 2017 where participants had to think out of the box and create something from scrap.
Solid works workshop was organised on 19th October,2017 which taught the usage of CAD software by Dr.Divik Mundhra
International ASME fest was organised succesfully at LNMIIT in March,2017
The ACM is an umbrella organization for academic and scholarly interests in computer science. Its motto is “Advancing Computing as a Science & Profession”. Founded in 1947 it is the world’s largest scientific and educational computing society.
The LNMIIT ACM Student Chapter was officially chartered by ACM Chapters Program Coordinator on November 13, 2017. Currently, our chapter has more than 200+ chapter members. Since then ACM LNMIIT Student Chapter is working extremely hard to carry forward the legacy ACM has established over the years. Our chapter was started with a prime focus on implementing a firm professional culture among the students apart from the regular academics. Our team has a comprehensive understanding of ACM and its events and we put in a lot of discussions to cherry-pick our events. We have a talented and diligent team working to deliver the best of ACM to the institute. With a striking balance among the team members, we have highly-skilled technical leads, dedicated designers and management personnel along with a sincere general body.
